Cleaning the Fish Webcam

Did you know that the Montrose Program has a fish webcam? This underwater camera lurks below the surface of the Huntington Beach Wetlands among the eelgrass. MSRP biologists have identified17 fish species caught by the camera and some of them are nearby residents like the Blennies that live in the pvc pipes of the camera base. One of several MSRP staff members cleans the fish webcam once a week to remove algae and sediment from the camera dome.

You never know what you will see on the live camera so take a break and tune in!
